What's your go-to artificial lure when targeting inshore species like redfish, trout or snook in the summer?

Mine is a D.O.A. paddle tail shad jerk bait. I currently seem to be having more luck with the pure white color right now... But still haven't landed a fish this summer (Only been out twice, got a bite but couldn't set the hook yesterday... sad

My go to lure for saltwater inshore and freshwater bass is the Rapala X-Rap suspending jerkbait.  I like glass ghost in clear water and glass clown in stained water.  Silver may be my favorite all time. The key in the gentle jerk movement.  I swear it drives fish nuts!

I've found the bone color whopper plopper to work on redfish

This year it was a Spro bucktail, 1/2 ounce with some type of paddle tail bait attached.
