Can you Dive with a Cochlear Implant?

My dad is looking to get a Cochlear Implant done and is concerned he may not be able to return to diving. Anyone know or have experience with this?

I Would Consult A Doctor  I would consult a doctor diving  is a sport with some inherent risk and people with deafness or ear surgery may be at increased risk
