Locally it would be a beach clean up, I have always wanted to do a dive clean up event but haven't done one yet. Every part helps!

I try to use a reusable bottle or tumbler as much as possible and try not to buy bottled water/drinks... however, that can be really tough since nearly everything is bottled these days.

I also try to do beach clean ups when I can.

I try to recycle as much as possible and reduce the amount of plastics my family uses. I personally carry a monofilament recycling container with me when I fish, and use it to keep my line, as well as other fishing line I find in until I can properly dispose of it. Also, I do not dispose of plastic artificial lures at my fishing spots, but bring them and others I find home for proper disposition. As a fisherman, I see a lot of waste on area beaches and in backwater areas and I try to get as much as possible home with me and away from the marine ecosystem. Also, at home, I try to reduce the amount of pesticides and fertilizers that runoff into area waterways, as well as practice water conservation in my yard and gardens.
