At least annually. I service the regs I use for dive classes more often. Pools are tough on regs.

Due to the new technologies the seats are of a harder material. If you take care of it and pull the hose protectors back to clean and dry. Two years 200 dive and in some cases where there is a wave washer that pull the parts away during storage 3years and 300 dives.

I usually do 2 yrs and have no problems but I take very good care of them.  What is a wave washer?

The wave washer at least for me starting showing up on the Atomic's now that Zeagle has joined them it's showing up on their regs. It's a washer that is not flat but bent so that when there is no air pressure it keeps from the seat from getting cut or an impression. Then when you add air it moves forward to stopping a leak. The best part is it works.

The manufacturer recommends every 2 years, but we do it more frequently. Our lives depend on them.

Honestly not very often, but I also don't dive often. I clean them after every dive and they look like new...

Mine get serviced annually, even with excellent care. Why risk it, its life support!

Once a year unless it has been a really busy year of diving

Yearly, an inexpensive way to ensure your return on the next dive.

My Scubapro Mk 25 requires service every 100 dives or two years.
