What do you do to try and stay involved in conservation? I have volunteered for cleanups and also volunteered at the aquarium to try and teach the younger generation why it is so important to try and change things to better the future. I also try my best to clean up wrecks and the beach when I go on vacations.

Support organizations that are active both locally and internationally. Volunteer when and where you can. Talk about the issue with anyone you meet, but especially kids and new divers. Read and be current on what is impacting the ocean the most right now. DON'T DRINK BOTTLED WATER!!!

Being a member of a couple of conservation groups and supporting the financially. Clean up trash whenever I am on the beach and make sure my children understand the importance of the environment and how to be responsible for their own actions.

I am a high school biology teacher and during the summer I spent 2-4 weeks doing shark/ray research with a group in Clearwater, FL. Constantly trying to learn new ideas and information about conservation to bring back to my family, friends and especially my students.

Our family are members of some conservation groups and follow them on social media. When we are at the beach we pick up trash and try to do what we can at home to recycle and reduce waste. When we dive we keep our bouancy neutral and not touch the coral.

I try to educate both my family and friends, especially coworkers, on conservation topics and how to get involved. I try to sign as many relevant petitions as I can. I then share these things with friends and family in order to get them involved.
