If you rent gear...do you bring your own mouth piece or just use whatever comes on it?

I usually just go with what they have, I know it is gross to some people but, if it is a nice dive shop they usually clean everything, or you put all the gear in a big tub with some disinfectant.

Never thought of bringing my own mouth piece, not a bad idea really! I doubt the shops do anything beyond a dip or two.

I have never rented gear. I like knowing how my gear has been used and serviced. If I had to rent gear, I would bring a mouthpiece.
