Ever get a Charlie horse while diving?

This is a very common problem. It can be caused by fins that are too stiff and offer too much resistance. This can be remedied with a split fin that will give more.  This will allow you to enjoy the dive without those agonizing leg cramps. If you get leg cramps  while in the water you can always extend your leg straight and grab your fin tip and pull it towards you. This will give you a a good stretch and alleviate the cramp.

Yes and it seems to be caused by how much water i drink. So when on a five trip I drink more water then what I normally do not diving.

I got one when I had a set of fins that were very stiff and hard to kick with.  Guess I wasn't man enough.  I sold them and bought some more flexible ones and haven't had one since.  I think my mistake was not practicing with the stiffer fins in the pool first.
