Very good but it gets harder on narrower race boards. Always try to take it head on, legs bent and loose hip distance apart,( a staggered stance is also helpful going head on only, get lower for more stability, go faster for more stability, keep your paddle blade active by paddling for best stability, paddle could also be used to brace(high and low bracing), go to knees when it’s too much. Always look out past board better balance, looking at feet is bad for balance. When going head on into wave or wake plant your paddle just past the peak of wave.
