I have done this and I think one of the most important things is remembering that it is going to be slow moving. There will be a lot of stops while they take their pictures. Being patient is good especially if you know your are diving with one. I would also keep a very close eye on air and act as the safety diver at times because a photographer will be focused on one subject at times.

Try to stay out of their way first of all. There is nothing more frustrating than to have a great shot and a careless diver who is not paying attention swim into the shot. Talk to them in the boat on the way to the dive and get an idea of what they are seeking. Diving is fun and everyone can have fun together. Most photographers will be more than happy to include you in good shots and share them with you. Just be conscious of where they are and where you are and where the wildlife is.

Stay out of the way. Avoid your air bubbles from entering the scene. If lights are being used, stay out of the way and out of shadows, etc. Stay off the bottom, which you should be preventing anyway.
