Do you still use dive tables and written logs in the days of computers and smart phones?

Yes, written logs can keep track of what you saw, how you felt, new friends etc. I plan every dive with tables, and back the information up with my computer. It gives me a safety margin, and I don't have to worry about loss of power, or flooding.

I honestly still use the dive tables and written logs, the reason is I do not like taking my phone on the boat or beach with me, I just try and enjoy the moment and not be distracted by my phone. I also like my dive tables and written logs, because it does not get low on batteries and if I am out on a multi dive and your phone dies you may be S.O.L.

Once I started using dive computer and backup dive computer watch, I stopped using tables except for planning my dive.  Once back on shore, I still logged my dives the old fashioned way in my log book.  The watch and computer was initially expensive but I like the redundancy and as a natural born worrier, it was well worth the investment

I still have my chart and calculator but now use my computer which is fine for me. I was surprised that they don't even teach the tables anymore in OW classes. I get that the computers are the new way but it should still be introduced to the students.
