I have a Scubapro Mako (titanium, blunt, straight blade) affixed to my BCD.  It weighs almost nothing. The attachment points are secure.  It is always there.  I've never been asked to removed it, even when diving in certain parks that forbid them.

Does the Scubapro mako stay securely in the sheath. I was looking at one but it got some bad reviews as to it falling out?

I dive with the Spyderco Salt Assist.  Small, compact, folds blade in so no exposed sharp edges, and has both saw and blade cut.

How do you stow it, is there a good place to clip it on your BC?

I try to keep it simple. Not to big. Linecutter is a must. But kind of it.

Had a cressi gator, very cool idea, poor performance though, as it rusted and didn’t sit in the sheath well. I converted to a spyderco salt assist,  far superior product!
