For me its a way to relax and treat myself after working all year. I always look forward to getting in the water and just being in awe of the different world below the surface.

Some of the most beautiful aspects of God's creation are hidden under the surface, diving gives us access to enjoy this beauty.

Some day our four children will join us under water.  Today, diving and dive vacations are about enhancing our marriage.

Diving has presented wonderful opportunities to make new friends and get to know people from all around the world.

Mostly memories. Having been a diver for Cousteau I am spoiled! (Also, I live in the northeast, so don't get the chance so often. Not too interested in diving these waters. Prefer warmer, clearer water.) Anyway, incredible memories for me = adventure, lighting, filming, danger, depth, wrecks...)

I started diving in 1960 after leaving the Army. But I didn't get certified until I moved to California and had just gotten married. She didn't want to jump out of an airplanes but did have a love for the water. After diving for seven year's in Monterey Bay we returned to Texas. I found a dive store I really like an went to work for the as an instructor and gas blender. After retiring from NASA Iwanted something to do with diveing. I became a repair tech going to school on ever one of the regulators that the dive shop sells. Now with Shark Zen I wear their shirts every day.

A way to unplug from the Matrix.  I never take a cell phone on a boat; leave it in my vehicle when at the lake unless it's time for new diver pics.
