What do you guys think about wrist computers? I have never used one, but I am curious about the free from tank computers.

Are you asking about wireless transmitters that connect to your 1st stage to display cylinder gas supply? You asked about dive watches, did you mean wrist computers?

Yes, Shearwater Perdix (v53) and love it. Its a little expensive but so easy to use. I am an instructor and I dive a lot. Its easy to read and very durable. Batteries are AA and easy to change. one less hose to deal with

I use a Galileo Luna and love it. If you like photography, the computer is always near the camera and you don’t have to look away.

I have a Scubapro M2. Love how it looks and works as a watch. It’s a really nice computer also. The downside is the size of the screen. It can be a little tough to see some of the smaller numbers. The solve to that is to put a small magnifying glass in the bottom corner of your mask. I got my wife a G2 by scuba pro.. excellent computer color screen. If I had my choice I would buy the G2,

I use an Aqualung wrist computer with wireless air integration. I love having all of the information in one place - dive time, depth, NDL, air pressure and estimated gas time remaining. I have also used a hose integrated computer console that has all of the same information, but I prefer having it on my wrist. I generally dive with my arms in front of me, so for me it’s easier to glance down at the wrist mounted computer versus locate and read the console computer.

Wow. So cool. Most of us didn't even wear a watch nor depth gauge on Calypso. At least one guy, yes but not all of us. Amazing the new technology.
