What was your first Kayak and is it still the one you use? If not, what did you upgrade too?

I just got my first kayak ever and I am loving it. I got a Vibe SeaGhost 110 because after doing over a year of research it met my needs and had a decent price point. I didn't want to spend thousands in case I ended up not liking kayak fishing.

So what was your first Kayak, and is it still the one you use or did you decide to upgrade. What did you upgrade too?

Walmart sundolphin. It was good to get me out there but I quickly realized I wanted more. I got a pelican catch 120 after that and it has been great, just wish it wasn't so heavy! Now I've been looking at the Feel Free kayaks...

My first kayaks were Stearns inflatables because they would stow on my sailboat.  I still have them. They are in great shape (some sun fade) and are perfect for guests and trips.

My first sit on top kayak was a harbor rescue after a storm. After a few weeks of advertising, I adopted it permanently & replaced all the straps & fittings. I still have it! It's an Ocean Frenzy.

I'm looking to add another single sit on top and focus on length, weight, capacity, & value.

First one cheap around $100 Morea (or something similar).  It was ok for short trips just past breakers but didn't handle well and wind gave it really hard time.  It was great to drag to beach because it was very lite weight. Second was a 12ft Native that was awesome but heavy.
