Are there any plastics that don't breakdown in the ocean?

No plastic disappears - they all break up into tiny pieces that are mixed in ocean currents, carried around the world, and ingested by sea life. That stuff literally lasts forever and it is an environmental disaster. Stop buying disposable stuff & throwing it away - there are so many great reusable options now!

Agree with "alwaysdiving" post. Go see a screening of Plastic Ocean (movie). Excellent, informative, moving.
