What do you keep in your boat bag when diving?

My wife and I both carry dry bags when we dive from boats.  What do you keep in yours?

For me, it depends on what I am planning to do the rest of the day and whether I've brought my full scuba equipment or am renting.  I think the essentials in a dry bag are IDs and PADI cards, log book, money or credit cards, towel, shorts and a t-shirt, sunglasses, and sunscreen.  I also try to consider the size boat I am on.  If I am on a small boat where you can't even really walk around, I try to be respectful and not bring anything more than I will use on the dive.  Hopefully, if you are on a boat like that, the shop has a secure place you can leave your dry bag for when you return from the dive.  Even on a large dive boat, I try to bring the smallest dive bag possible, especially when I have all my own dive equipment so I am not a space hog.

I'll have chapstick, sunscreen, small pack of Kleenex, money, my save a dive kit (extra o rings, extra mask strap, extra fin strap etc.), benedril spray and pills, logbook, phone, small first aid kit.

• ID / driver license.
• Salt water fishing license; with Lobster stamp (you have to make sure you are legal).
• Regulator, octopus, back up and blah.
• Dive Knife. (you never know when you will need one)
• Dive gloves. I prefer Kevlar; no getting stabbed by bugs or fish.
• Dive booties. tusa FTW
• Rash guard / warm'E shirt; 2mm / 3mm thick.
• Mask with case; atomic frameless. (I love it!)
• BCD.
• Fins; I like frogs.
• Mares Men's Rash Guard Pants.

I always have my save a dive kit, my PADI c cards, phone, ID's, computer batteries, a towel, shorts and of course a couple of extra Shark-Zen performance shirts, an extra to use as a rash guard and a dry one to wear when finished diving. You have to look cool when you get off the boat. lol
