One 10 foot thresher shark.

One pod of dolphin.

One young whale.

Sea lion pups playing.

The best is bioluminescence! Seeing fish around & under. Scurrying from every paddle dip and hull motion.

While fishing on the flats in Tampa Bay, I’ve has several pods of dolphin chasing schools of muller less than 20’ from me in my yak. Also, manatees are very curious. They have swam up to me and bump my yak trying swim by.

Big ol' harbor seal while paddling in the channel at Wells Maine. Popped his or her head out of the water about ten feet in front of me, way cool!
