If you spot trash on a dive, do you collect it and bring it back to the boat?

I'll cut fishing line and I'll do my best to stuff any trash I spot into a pocket and trash it on the boat. Thankfully i don't see trash too often, but fishing line is everywhere... don't get me wrong, i fish too and sometimes you gotta cut the line, but i try to do my best not to do it unless it is a last resort.

Yes, I bring a dive knife down with me and I am always cutting fishing lines and finding lure, just make sure and be careful of hooks, I have stuck myself a few times! I am glad that other people do it, it is hard to get people to understand what damage is being done if they never see it, or they do not see why it matter, because they are not down there.

I pick up all non biodegradable trash I find. Some people are advocating leaving some plastic containers on the bottom as artificial shelter habitat for small marine life.

We always bring back trash found when beach combing, kayaking and snorkeling.

Absolutely, every opportunity I'll bring it back. Every little bit helps.
