I used to, until I discovered how to access the time on my dive computer (wrist version) while it's in underwater mode. Now I just use my computer for both time and dive functions.

I do out of habit, the watch i typically wear is ok for diving so it just stays on. You can quickly tell if a watch that claims it can go 5ATM is baloney because it ends up fogging up on a 30ft dive lol. Just be careful what you buy and make sure it can specifically be used for diving.

Always.  I always use the tables and time my dives in case my computer goes funky on me.  Better safe than sorry.

I do just because I always wear it. comes in handy for tracking surface intervals. I dont use it to track bottom time, I let my computer do that for me. Plus you never know when someone will ask you for the time.

Yes. I've carried a dive watch on almost ever dive. Several years ago I had a zodiac dive watch. While in a cave in Florida I bump the watch and it blew up. When I sent it to the manufacturer for repair they told me it was my fault because I hadn't sent it in for yearly seal replacement.
