How do I get into an ocean conservation career without having to go back to school for a new degree?

The best thing would be try and volunteer at your local aquarium, and start making connections there. After that you can usually land a job there as well, and most of them are very into conservation and work with other programs as well.

Try to use the degree you have for a conservation organization. There are going to be opportunities for your own skill set within, you just have to see what they need. Biologists are only one layer of these types of organizations. They would need management personnel, computer people, office personnel and many others in order to function. Good luck to you.
