I do both. I download my logs from my computer to my phone and then transfer to my log book. This way I can keep all of the info. my dive computer doesnt keep up with weather conditions, surf conditions, how much weight I use or if I see something at a particular site that I want to remember. Plus my log book doesnt have batteries to go dead.

I keep both. I was on a liveaboard in Belize and my computer got stuck in the GAUGE setting, which only records the one dive. So every time I surfaced, I jotted down the depth and duration into my paper logbook, and added detail of what I saw later that day. I manually entered these dives into the electronic log (Aeris) after returning home.
