Not yet. It is something I'd like to do someday though.

I was on a five trip to Belize and a friend sprayed 39 lion fish. We started being spiders for him. He cut the poison tips off before he have them to the helpers to eat.

Once the spines are cut off, the lion fish is supposed to be good eating. That's a lot of lion fish!

You know ive not eaten lion fish yet but I am going too. Ive heard of a lady in Florida who is doing good with spearing them and selling for people to eat. I like the idea of eating them before they eat our reefs.

My wife and I dove the West Palm Beach Florida area last year and the divers for the company we were with were spearing them and attempting to feed them to the Goliath Groupers .  I believe they were trying to introduce them as a food source for the Groupers .  Hopefully that will help reduce the invasion before it's too late.
