How can I generate more interest (more sign ups) in having a YMCA SCUBA class?

You can generate more interest in having a YMCA scuba class by printing fliers and posting them at popular fishing spots or boat docks because fishermen and boaters tend to have an interest in diving. The reason I started diving was because I wanted to see what was swimming in the spots that I fished in and to find potential new fishing spots. Good luck, hope you get a class!!

Where are you located? Believe it or not it has an impact. People in warmer climates have more interest in diving. Do you have a local TV station that does public interest segments? If so talk to them and see if you can get a few minutes to promote it. Also talk to local fitness clubs and promote it there. Promote the health benifits of swimming. good luck hope it works out.
