Change tanks, and make sure your gear is ready for the next dive. This is a good time to rinse your mask and reapply defog, adjust weights, adjust fins and mask straps. Loosen up the straps on your BC so it will be easier to get into when you gear up for your next dive. Make sure your gear is out of the way, but within easy reach. Log your first dive. Keep track of your surface interval time. Relax and mingle, if you listen you will learn what others saw that maybe you missed, log this information for future reference. Eat something, and drink more water. Put on some sunscreen and make some new friends.

I usually take a look at my gear and make sure I did not lose anything and I make sure everything is working properly during my safety stops, during surface intervals I usually log my dives and talk to the other divers and see what they observed during the dive.

I always check my equipment, and correct anything I didn't like on the first dive. If the boat furnishes fruit then just enjoy it and drink a cup of water.

I always switch my gear and do safety checks first. Then if there's time I grab a drink/snack, edit photos, and check out fish and critter ID books with my dive buddy while we talk about what we saw.

Once gear is settled

Eat

Nap

Socialize

From my own boat, we usually do one dive a day. So, we will kayak, dinghy, tube, fish, cook, sight see, hike if that's an option, etc

Debrief the dive. Grab a light bite. Check my equipment and air. Time permitting get some shut eye.

When diving with my wife (my most frequent dive buddy) we always kiss during safety stops.

During surface intervals I do equipment first, then eat and drink, then relax - hopefully in the sun.

I try to relax, breathe and rotate my view you never know what may cruise by.  I also keep a look out for other divers and if it is a anchor line and its busy i will hang out to the side free floating for my stop.

We discuss the last five and what we want to see and do in the next dive.
