Just curious to hear what people have to say about their favorite shark. And if you can add a brief reason why this is so, thanks!

Mine is the Tiger Shark- their stripes are beautiful, I find their teeth interesting as well as the way they eat anything they can get their mouth on.

gotta love the great white, but aside from that I'd say my favorites are black tip reef sharks, lemon sharks, hammerheads, whale sharks, and wobbegongs. I've only seen lemon sharks so far while diving, and accidentally caught a small (3ft) bonnet hammerhead once. (Tiger sharks are awesome too, but I didn't want to copy you lol)

I love sharks <3

I do shark research in the summer in Clearwater and we catch a lot of bonnetheads. They are so neat. My goal is to swim with whale sharks before i die and the only reason I would ever go to Mexico

I think hamerheads are just really cool. I think it's almost time for them to start showing up in the Flower Gardens off the Coast of Texas.

They are extremely neat. The first shark i ever saw was a 12ft great hammerhead eating a stingray in 2 ft of water. Amazing

I have to say that Blue Sharks are my favorite. Their color is beautiful and I came to see them quite often in NJ while growing up and fishing for Bluefish. My Dad and I actually tagged sharks for NOAA way back when, and many of them that came up into the chum slick were blue sharks. It was then that I saw their power and beauty and have admired them since.

I have a friend in Maine doing shark research, mostly catching porbeagles but she just posted a picture of their first blue shark. I can totally understand how you would get drawn into their beauty as I did just seeing her Facebook post
