How do you feel about people running with their fenders hanging down?

When we bought our Chris Craft Catalina which was 12 years ago. On the check out run it was made clear to is they never wanted to see us running with fenders flapping. We just sold the boat it was hard to let go.

I think that sometimes things happen and you look over it, but I have seen people do it multiply times and I think it is just pure laziness. I think if you have a boat you should always do a walk around before and after you dock or tie up to make sure you have them back in your boat.
