How old is the oldest diver you know?

84, my dad, he takes it easy and doesn’t go below 60’ he needs some assistance getting in and out, but I am happy to give it. He is also a great dive buddy!

Well sadly I am the oldest in my family diving. I'll be 80 next year. Just made 17 dive in 6 days in Grand Cayman. Ive owned three rebreather and I am a technical cave diver. I jumped out of airplanes over a period of 30 years. Just got tired of having shoulder operations.

Do you still use a rebreather? That has always fascinated me. I am 74.

I friend of mine is in his mid 70's and still dives. He side mounts now. That way he can get in the water and we hand him his tanks. Much easier for him.

I know a woman who is pushing 90. She started diving at 80 (and loves it)! Last trip was to Indonesia to dive.
