Adobe premier is my choice, although GOPro has some great tools. Adobe takes raw footage into flawless productions. Personally I think it’s the industry-leading video editing software. I just use iMovie which already comes with my Macbook. Obviously if you don't have an Apple this doesn't help you but if you do I think it is easy to use and did not take me long to figure it out.

I have just tried Final Cut Pro X for video and really like it. Very good color editing.
