Unless my shop can’t find it or get it, it comes out of the shop. As a Divemaster, I also try to support the brand. In other words, if there are two choice that are very similar, I am going to go with what the store sells. It helps out the shop, and promotes his brands. They will usually give me a little better deal on it also. There are a lot of knock offs out there, and I am not typically comfortable taking chances. Plus it’s so much easier to get something fixed at the shop. Online you are at he mercy of the warranty.

I like supporting my local dive shop especially if I dive with them. It helps build repore and you get to know them better. Sometimes you just have to get something on line.
