I do not, I usually only carry one when I do Quarry Dives or if I am going deep so I can point things out to people.

Yes, one small enough to fit in my BC pocket. I use it around wrecks, and holes in the coral. I also carry one in case I find myself swept away, it is a good signaling device.

Since this is a "scuba" series of questions...  Yes, I always carry a flashlight underwater.  I carry the ScubaPro Novalight 720.  It is always in my BCD.  It is a little big and heavy, but it does a great job of illuminating all sorts of nooks.

When I am not diving, I always carry a Streamlight 73001 Nano Light Miniature Keychain LED Flashlight.  It's very small and lives on my key ring.  For it's size it does a great job.

Better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it. Comes in handy if you are diving at depth or around structures that can easily cause shadow/dark areas you may want to shine some light on and check out

Yes, there is always a crack or crevice you want to look in and a light really helps. They are so small and are easy just to have available.
