What are some common errors new divers make?

1. Not equalizing at the surface and often enough while descending

2. Not staying with the dive plan.

3. Not staying with their buddy.

4. Not using proper buoyancy.

5. Trying to cover too much area, and not seeing the special things.

6. Touching everything.

7.not relaxing and using too much air.

8. Ascending too fast

Not equalizing enough.

Wearing their mask on top of their head and a wave knocking it off.

putting their regs on their tanks backwards.

Using their inflator to ascend

Ascending to fast

Using their arms to swim

Using too much wieght

The list can go on and on.
