I am considering getting certified to teach First aid/CPR/AED, is it worth the trouble?

Yes, if you just have to use it one time it will have paid for it's self. I've seen several stories were kids were taught these life saving procedures and they knew what to do.

Go for it, be sure to double check insurance and liability protection other than that it can be very rewarding.

Definitely worth having the knowledge, even just for everyday life. Go for it!

Can't hurt, just remember it is something that needs to be re-evaluated every two years or something like that... well, at least I know I have to do my dive CPR/first aid class again soon for my volunteer aquarium work. It's good to keep the knowledge fresh lol

I would suggest that the only one that can answer that is you. There are no teachers that make good money, they get a sense of accomplishment in seeing their students succeed in learning. It can be very fulfilling to know you may save a life by transferring this knowledge. If you do it for the money you may lose interest fast, but the worst that will happen is you will be a better informed diver.

Absolutely, why not go all the way and get the rescue diver cert?
