Here are a few extras I keep in my kit.
trauma shears (titanium coated)
O2 tank key
steri-strips
small flashlight
safety pins
small zip lock with O-rings (because why not)
Tylenol (check expiration dates)
motion-sickness medication (check expiration)
Waterproof notepad and pen (always make notes that include the time for EMS)
Waterproof matches (I keep these in all my first aid kits)
