My Reg and Octo is on the same side, and my connection to BC and my gauges are on the other side. (Regs on the right side)

The dive shop I work for places the Octo on the left so when you hand it off it's not upside down.

I use an Air 2 which eliminates the redundant hose and cleans up the right side. Wouldn't change it.

I teach, so my gear is set up by the RSTC standards. The octo goes on the triangle right side of the chest, so the hose must come around my right side. Otherwise I would trap my BC, and in an emergency it would create a problem getting my gear off.My air II is left. This way I can Handle air sharing by both methods, depending on how the diver was taught.

2nd stage primary on the right and an air 2 on the left with my computer. I have a safety reg with a yellow hose that that I can share with some one low on air. Its on the right also.
