What was your deepest dive?

What is the deepest dive you have done? What what it like?

100' it was a great dive and I shot the biggest lingcod too! But most of the good diving is 70 or less.

160 feet on the Stavronikita in Barbados. Great dive! Shared the chart room with a 6' Barracuda, among othe sights! Depth isn't an issue as long as you watch your time, take a dc stop and equalize on descent.

My worse dive was in Barbados. Viz was about three feet. Quick backward roll after boat caught fire. Many got confused and went the wrong way or got caught in the strong current I went down anchor line with my buddie and hung out there.  Sounds like you had a great dive.

On just air 160 feet. We were going diving out of Monterey when we found that a boat had just sunk, it's hull was full of fish and the nets were full when they sunk. The boat was white and trimmed in blue very bright under water the vis was great, needs to say we didn't stay long.

around 93' for me, it was in Hawaii and the water was so clear. It was for a drift dive and it didn't really feel any different from any other dive. Just gotta watch your air more closely.

Never have dove there. I went to 132' went I was doing my advanced training. Not much to see on that dive.

Cozumel I went to 155'.  Actually it wasn't that great.  More sea life and colors at less depth.  Didn't get narc'd either..........

110' feet off the coast of Islamorada. Awesome wreck dive. Even saw a bull shark

180'  on Nitrox.  40 miles West of Key West chasing a black grouper with my free shaft in the gill plate.

Got him 43lbs.

My deepest dive thus far was to 80 feet in the Turks & Caicos Islands.

Only about 80’ but it was near a dam and the visibility was about three feet. It was a final test when I learned. We had to dive down and find a VW that had been pushed off the damn and retrieve the license plate number. Needless to say there was also an old catfish that was reported  to have yanked a diver around....l never saw the license plate nor the catfish.
