To be certified for full penetration wreck diving, do most training programs go beyond penetration skills?

To be certified for full penetration wreck diving, do most training programs go beyond penetration skill to include gas management techniques and the use of decompression gases to facilitate staged decompression stops during the ascend?

Having been train by a INTD instructor, we went all the above. Plus being Doppler before the dive and after. My shoulders sounded like someone throwing rocks inside a wind tunnel.
