What is the best lure for vertical jigging on reefs?

I have tried an inordinate amount of lures in various parts of the worlds oceans.  I keep coming back to the old school buck tail jigs.  Spro makes some nice ones that also throw and retrieve well.

I generally use a small butterfly jig. You can by them online, order a smaller size, maybe 4-6 ounces, and get one that has 2 hooks, one on top and one on bottom. Vary your speeds when jigging, try insanely fast with hard jerks, and just a slow reel, and everything in-between until you get a bite.
