I will troll two baits until I see some sign of life. I keep another casting rod and jigging rod handy. Just remember that the "more prepared" you are usually the more equipment you have tethered to your yak. This can become all too cumbersome when a tuna starts its death circle near the end of its fight. Working around poles and equipment can be a major reason for lost fish.
