I have two favorites:

1.) Relatively early in my dive days, a buddy and I ended up improvising our own dive plan in a shallow area with three wrecks. I took on the role of navigator, and despite my anxiety about potentially getting us both lost, I managed to navigate to all three wrecks and back to our boat within in our time frame, using only the position of the wrecks, the reef, a slight current, and the sun overhead. It was really empowering, to know I could navigate successfully!

2.) My favorite animal-related dive was this past February in Turks & Caicos, when our group encountered a humpback whale and her calf... what an incredible experience!

My best dive was my daughters certification dives in Florida. I created the best buddy I ever had, and she is a fantastic diver. Together we dove Curaco, Belize, Cozumel, Cayman, shark diving in Nassau. My best dive is because of my best buddy!

It was a deep cave dive when I could hear my heart beating. I knew only a few people had ever been where I currently was, and I would probably never get to come back.

Okinawa, reefs and tons of sea life right off shore (within 10 feet).  Never needed a boat.  Best dive was getting chased out of water by school of barracuda.  We were in a cove and the cuda trapped a school of bait fish in the cove and they were just snapping at everything so we got out.  Most exciting dive ever.
