How often do you change your first and second stage hoses out?

I have seen people that have had them for 10 years.

When you have your reg rebuilt the repair tech should inspect them. But then your the owner so you should inspect them too. If you have hose protectors always pull them back when rinsing after a dive. Look around the first stage to see if you see any separation or bubbling. If your using Miflex there were some recalls.

When they show signs if wear, I dont use hose protectors corosion can build underneath. Easier to inspect hoses. First signs of wear usually appear where the hoses connect to the 1st stage reg.

haven't needed to change mine out yet, but if there was any sign of damage I would.

I just changed mine out this year.  Not that I needed to change them.  I switched to the lighter Miflex hose.
