I got a new dive knife, and even after I rinsing, it still shows signs of rust. Is that common, It's a Creasi Alligator?

It is common if its stainless steel. Lubricate with a silicone spray after washing or get a titanium knife. Salt water is a killer,

And, you can remove the rust with CLR or Barkeepers friend.

I use rust kill, then rinse, when it's good and dry I coat with Dow Corning 111 silicone. It's good for a couple dives. Then only have to touch it up every now and then.
