You could spend a couple of days reviewing this, but in short. I would pick the Sony. I am not sure what you are in it for, but here are my reasons.
SonY: cheaper, higher res for pictures, works well with my canon lenses with a conversion kit, is much lighter and easier to work with. Its 4k video only shoots at 30 FPS, but that is all I need. It has double the ISO, and a nice little fill in flash. For me its about activities and events that I am on the go with. The Panasonic is an amazing machine, its just more than I need.
