What is one thing you do not leave home without when going fishing? Mine is my knife, I am always using it to cut bait or line.

aside from the usual stuff, i'd also say my knife, but to be a little more original i would also say i don't leave without my fish grips, never know when you might catch a toothy fellow and i like my fingers.

Assuming all the normal stuff...

One thing I always take fishing, whether in a pond for panfish, a lake for bass, or an ocean for sharks, is a Dr. Slick Scissor Clamp.

A big floppy brimmed hat. I had to get a spot cut off my ear a while back. I make sure that even they are covered now. The rest of the stuff I carry daily anyway...(Knife sunglasses etc...)
