Definitely bring a pump and a repair kit. The after market two stage pumps take up less space and take a lot less effort to use.

Always! You can let air out of board and sleep on top of it, then pump it up next morning.

Yes bring a pump. Board pressure can change with temperature, valves can be a little loose and slowly lose pressure requiring the valve tool in repair kit to tighten as well as pump to top off.
