I agree - they're is nothing cheap about boating. If you only plan to use it sporadically maybe look into joining a boat club

There is no such thing as cheap when boats are concerned. I love them but a boat is a hole in the water to throw money into. The happiest 2 days of a boat owners life are the day he buys her and the day he sells her.
