I used to be a commercial fishermen in Florida. One of the perks of the fishing trip was a shore lunch or dinner of the fish we caught.the trout or grouper were still alive when I filleted them and I fried them over an open fire. Now any fish I eat in a restaurant tastes like old shoes.

I have had some fresh saltwater fish, but my favorite is going fishing up in Minnesota on my Grandmothers land and catching big bass and sunfish and cleaning them and eating them the next day. It is so good!

Had a boat crew free-dive and speared a nice tuna. Cut some up for the guests and we ate some really fresh ahi. Memorable for sure.
